REGISTRATIONS FOR 2025 NETBALL & NET SET GO SEASON NOW OPEN!

REGISTER FOR THE 2025 SEASON

Registrations for the 2024 Netball and NetSetGo seasons are now open. All participants must agree to abide by the WPSNC Codes of Conduct
Please read the attached Information sheets before registering.  

NSW Active Kids vouchers are accepted. To us a voucher you must secure your voucher before beginning registration. To check your eligibility under the new scheme, visit the Service NSW website

We encourage current Year 1 and Year 2 students to begin forming friendship-based Net Set Go teams now. Please read our information for new and returning NetSetGo players. (Girls and boys welcome). Register your team or individual player with wpsnetballclub@gmail.com

2025 NETBALL GRADING SCHEDULE

Grading sessions for Netball (Years 4 - 6) will take place at the fowlling dates/times. As we play in a graded competition, all WPS Netball teams are graded for the experience and safety of our players. The goal of grading is to ensure that all of our players have the best possible experience.

Attendance at Grading is mandatory. Please note that Grading sessions begin shortly after the date of return to school. The dates are set in order for us to meet deadlines set by the Northern Suburbs Netball Association. If your player is unable to attend a grading session, please be in touch with wpsnetballclub@gmail.com as soon as possible. 

WPS NETBALL CLUB MEETINGS

Dates for 2025 Netball Club meetings will be announced in the new year. We encourage all members of the WPS Netball community to attend. At a minimum, one parent from each team should arrange to attend to share relevant discussions with their team.

TRAINING

2024 Netball Squad Training will take place on the following days  (NSG training is arranged by individual teams & coaches)

U12 (Yr 6) Monday 3.15pm - 4.30pm*
U11 (Yr 5) Tuesday 3.15pm - 4.30pm*
U10 (Yr 4) Wednesday 3.15pm - 4.30pm*

NSG U8 Year 2

NSG U9 Year 3

Tuesday or Thursday

7.45.am - 8.45am

  • All Netball teams will train as a year squad at the start of training each week, then split into their individual teams for the 2nd half of training.
  • Netball team training will commence at 3.15pm through to 4.30pm*, however some teams or players may choose to finish at 4.15pm.
  • NSG teams do not participate in Squad training.
  • NSG teams have the choice of Tuesday or Thursday mornings (7.45 – 8.45am) or Thursday afternoons 3.15 – 4.30pm*), as best suits the majority of the team members and their individual coach.

club policies

  • WPS Netball Club has Codes of Conduct and a Privacy Policy  for all players, parents, guardians, spectators, managers, umpires and coaches.  Failure to abide by the Codes of Conduct may result in expulsion from the club or a ban on attending matches.
     
  • All Netball players (Years 4 - 6) play on graded teams. For information on the process, refer to WPS Netball Club's Guidelines for Grading
     
  • When borrowing is required, teams should refer to the WPS Netball Club Borrowing/Playing Up Policy

At the Netball Club’s Term 4  AGM held on Tuesday 12 November and our EGM on 4 December, our 2024 Volunteer Committee was ratified.  Our volunteer Committee Members are the glue that hold our Club together. Thank you to all of our new Committee Members for giving their time and energy to ensure kids at Willoughby Public School can play netball for their school and train conveniently on school grounds before or straight after school.  They are supported by our Paid Club Administrator.
